Best Chinese Smartphones that are not available in US

Samsung and Apple leads the American smartphone market till now. LG and Motorola took the 3rd and 4th place respectively while Google and OnePlus shares less than 10% of US smartphone market share. These are the only options available to buy if you live in United States.

While Chinese smartphone makers took over the MWC 2019 by storm and showcased groundbreaking technology that are incorporated in their smartphones. Chinese smartphone makers now focuses on new design trends and brings new features with great hardware at very competitive price. Here we have compiled a list of best Chinese smartphones that are not available in US.

Xiaomi Mi 9
Xiaomi Mi series is the flagship lineup by the company. The latest flagship phone offered by Xiaomi is Mi 9. The device comes with 6.4 inch OLED display with a notch on top. The smartphone is powered by coupled with upto 12GB of RAM. It has an in display fingerprint scanner and Triple camera setup on the rear. The 6GB RAM variant of Xiaomi Mi 9 costs $450 (Around Rs. 62,000 in Pakistan) that’s way below than other smartphones offered in US with these specs.

Xiaomi Mi Mix 3
Another high end smartphone from Xiaomi which is not going to be available to buy in US is Mi Mix 3. Main highlight of the device is its sliding front camera mechanism. Xiaomi tried to ditch the notch trend and come with something new. The camera appears from back of the display when user wants to capture a selfie or video call. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 855 coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is fuelled by 3,200mAh battery. Base model of Mi Mix 3 is priced at $475 (Approx Rs. 66,000 in Pakistan).

Huawei Mate 20 Pro
Huawei has been facing a permanent ban in US because US alleges that Huawei smartphones can be used by Chinese spying agencies. While Huawei totally denies the allegation but due to the political pressure US still somehow can’t allow the sale of Huawei smartphones. Huawei’s latest flagship Mate 20 Pro is another competitive entrant which people living in US can’t use. The phone is powered by Kirin 980 SoC. Curved OLED display, Triple rear camera setup along with an in display fingerprint scanner and 3D face detection. The price of this beast is $1,200 (~ 167,000 in Pakistan).

Honor View 20
Honor is the sub brand of Huawei and is also banned in US. Latest flagship from Honor is its photography focused Honor View 20. It is also powered by Kirin 980 chip. It was the first smartphone to boast an in display pinhole front camera and a 48MP main sensor in rear camera setup. The phone packs a large 4,000mAh battery and costs just $650 (Approximately Rs. 90,000 in Pakistan). It can give a serious competition to the existing smartphones in US if the ban is lifted.

Vivo V15 Pro
Vivo’s recently announced flagship V15 Pro is another smartphones people in US can’t have. It packs a 32MP pop up selfie camera and there sits a 48MP main sensor on the rear camera setup. The device comes with a full OLED display without any notch. Vivo V15 Pro is powered by an Snapdragon 675. With the price tag of $400 (~55,000 in PKR) this device can also knockout a couple of smartphones available in US with this price range.

Vivo Nex
The high end flagship smartphone from Vivo called Vivo Nex is powered by Snapdragon 845. It has a sliding mechanism for front camera so its big 6.6 inch display remains in its glory without any notch. The device is fuelled by 4,000mAh of battery and packs high end hardware with top of the line in display fingerprint scanner. But sadly it won’t be available to the US smartphone buyers.

Oppo Find X
Oppo Find X was launched an year ago and at that time it was way ahead of its time so till this date it can compete any flagship phone. It boasts a curved display with no notch and incorporates a sliding mechanism for front camera and 3D facial recognition. The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 845 and is fuelled by a 3,400mAh battery. Oppo introduced VOOC flash charging in the device which charges the phone from 0 to 100 in just 35 minutes.

Oppo F11 Pro
Oppo just announced its F11 Pro this week with 48MP main camera and a pop up selfie camera. It comes in beautiful gradient color options. The device is a high end smartphone but not flagship level. F11 Pro is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 and comes with a price tag of $350 (Around Rs. 48,000 in Pakistan). Hopefully US will reconsider its policy regarding the Chinese smartphones and the residents their can get real value for their money which these Chinese manufacturers are offering.
