LG G8 ThinQ will come with larger than its predecessor 3,400mAh battery

The next flagship from Korean smartphone maker LG called LG G8 will come with a 3,400mAh battery as seen on Anatel. The device has been codenamed Alpha. LG is also expected to launch its first 5G smartphone V50 ThinQ at MWC 2019.

The battery of LG G8 ThinQ carries model number BL T41 which has a capacity of 3,400mAh. This is considerably larger than the 3,000mAh battery present in the LG G7 ThinQ+ debuted last year and the 3,300mAh battery available on the G6 launched back in 2017.

Earlier reports suggests, the LG G8 ThinQ will be launched alongside the V50 ThinQ 5G on February 24, just a day before MWC 2019 takes off. The company could also reveal its foldable phone at the event to compete against other smartphone giants Huawei and Samsung.

LG G8 ThinQ will come equipped with a triple rear camera setup and will sport 3D shooting technology. The smartphone is also likely to have a water drop notched display and will be powered by a Snapdragon 855 SoC. We will get to know more about the device as the official launch date comes near.
