Huawei announced TalkBand B5 with Amoled display which also becomes bluetooth headset

Huawei yesterday announced that it would launch the Huawei TalkBand B5 alongwith Huawei Nova 3 on July 18.

The Huawei TalkBand B5 is a smartband which is successor to the TalkBand B3 that was launched way back in April 2016 that's why Huawei is skipping TalkBand B4 and releasing TalkBand B5. It is not just a smartband though It also doubles up as a Bluetooth headset.

The device will come with 1.113 inch AMOLED display with 300 × 160 pixels resolution and a 2.5D curved glass on the top.

TalkBand will also come with a pop out Bluetooth headset that will allow users to take the band out of its strap and then use it as an earphone to attend calls. The TalkBand B5 comes with an IP67 rating for its dust and water resistance. It also comes with a built in heart rate sensor along with the Huawei TruRelax technology that uses the sensor to check the stress of the user and the suggest breathing and other physical activities.

TalkBand B5 is programmed to do all the usual fitness tracking stuff, including calorie counting, sleep cycle analysis and step tracking. It will also be able to track activities such as walking, running, and swimming.

The TalkBand B5 comes with 512 KB of RAM  along with 16 MB of storage. It is powered by a 108 mAh battery which offers around 3.5 days of backup on a single charge, or 6 hours of talk time.

Price will be announced on 18th of July along with the launch.
