The Mi Band 2 has been a great success because of its simplicity and affordable price. The design has got no big surprises, Mi 3 band is slightly larger and an improved version of its predecessor but continues to have a removable rubber strap and a button on the front.
It's a thin band and looks more like a fitness tracker than a smartwatch, and the display fits on most of the front of the strap. What catches the eye is the 0.78 inch OLED screen with 128x80 pixel resolution. This is a capacitive display that allows you to manage notifications, messages and allows you to navigate the menu using gestures.
Among the other features offered by the Mi Band 3 we have got Bluetooth 4.2 LE and the certification of water proof that allows you to use it at a maximum depth of 50 meters. The Mi Band 3 incorporates a 110mAh battery that claims to last 20 days.
Mi Band 3 will be released in China first and then in the international market. Expected price of Mi Band 3 will be $26 (Around 3,000 PKR) which is very affordable but slightly higher than Mi Band 2 which was priced at $23 (About 2,600 PKR). The band will come in of Red, Black and Blue color variants.
