Honor, the sub brand of Smartphone manufacturer Huawei has began the sale of two new Honor phones in China, the 8X and 8X Max. The phones were announced last week.
First we will talk about the Honor 8X. The new phone offers a 6.5 inch screen surrounded by thin bezels. The bezel at the bottom of the display is just 4.25mm, giving the 8X a screen to body ratio of 91%.
Honor 8X is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710 with Mali G51 MP4 GPU, and comes in Two RAM variants, 4GB and 6GB with 64GB / 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
In the camera department Honor 8X has got 20MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup, while on front there is a 16MP selfie shooter with AI beautify feature.
3,750 mAh battery keeps the lights on. The phone runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android Oreo and is available in Black, Blue, Red and Purple color options.
The phone has began the sale starting September 11th in China. There will be a global launch of the phone next month.
While the Honor 8X Max has got a 7.12 inch display with a tiny water drop notch. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 636 chipset instead of the Kirin 710. In terms of memory the phone comes in two options, 4GB and 6GB of RAM with 64GB / 128GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
Honor 8X MAX has got a dual 16MP + 2MP rear camera setup with LED flash. And an 8MP front camera for selfies.
The phone has got a huge 5000 mAH battery, and runs EMUI 8.2 based on Android Oreo 8.1. The phone is available in three color options Black, Blue and Red.
