Honor 9X and 9X Pro are officially launched in China. They are premium mid range smartphones with powerful specs and trendy design. These are the first phones by Honor to sport a motorised Pop Up Selfie Camera Module. In terms of design both the devices are almost identical with an X shaped Gradient design on the back and extremely thin bezels on the front.
Honor 9X and 9X Pro sports a similar 6.59 inches LCD display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution. Both are powered by Huawei's own Kirin 810 processor. Honor 9X is offered in three memory variants that are 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. While Honor 9X Pro comes in two memory variants, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
In terms of camera, Honor 9X sports a dual rear camera setup comprises of 48MP main sensor + 2MP secondary sensor. While Honor 9X Pro comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup comprises of 48MP main sensor + 8MP Ultra wide angle lens and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, both devices sports a 16MP camera housed inside Pop Up Module.
Both the smartphones runs on EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie and fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support. The Honor 9X series will be available from 30th of July in various color options including, magic Night black, Sea Blue, Phantom purple and Red.
