Honor has announced that it is rolling out an upgraded AI Super clear mode for its Honor 9X Pro. The upgraded AI Super clear mode which is an algorithm that comprises of Super Resolution Reconstruction and AI HDR. It will enhance the camera performance.
The new feature will improve the resolution of the camera by super resolution SR algorithm, while the dynamic range of the image is improved by the AI HDR algorithm. The image quality will improve by 10 to 20% with the feature. The AI combines multiple images with lower resolution to generate a new high resolution image.
AI HDR refers to AI powered High Dynamic Range that details the image and highlights the dark areas. The feature makes the image more vivid that gives a natural look. The AI HDR enhances image quality through a deep learning network.
Honor 9X smartphone comes with 6.59 inches display with Full-HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It comes with a motorised pop up selfie camera. The smartphone is powered by a Kirin 810 processor coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
In terms of camera, the smartphone sports a triple rear camera setup that comprises of 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP depth sensor. While on the front, it features a 16MP pop up selfie camera.
Honor 9X Pro is fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. It runs EMUI 9.1 based Android 9 Pie. For security, the smartphone is equipped with a side mounted fingerprint scanner. It comes in Magic Night Black, Charm Sea Blue, Charm Red color options.
