Honor V30 and V30 Pro Officially Launched With Kirin 990 SoC and 40MP Triple Rear Camera Setup

Honor has launched two 5G ready flagship smartphones called Honor V30 and V30 Pro in China. Smartphones are the latest flagship devices by the Huawei sub brand. Both the Honor V30 series phones comes equipped with triple rear camera setup, hole punch display and Dual Mode 5G Support.

In terms of design, both Honor V30 series smartphones comes with same color options with glossy finish at the back, boasts a similar camera module and a side mounted fingerprint scanner biometric authentication. Honor V30 and V30 Pro features a 6.57-inch full-HD+ display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. 

Both the phones are powered by Huawei's own Kirin 990 SoC build on 7nm processes. The processor is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro run Android 10 with Magic UI 3.0.1 skin on top. 

In terms of camera and photography, the Honor V30 a 40MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by an 8MP telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture and an 8MP wide-angle shooter is also present there with an f/2.4 lens.

While the Honor V30 Pro packs a 40MP main camera sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 lens, and is assisted by a powerful 12MP wide-angle shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. Both devices feature a 32MP selfie camera paired with an 8MP telephoto lens on the front.

The Honor V30 is fuelled by a 4,200mAh battery, while the Honor V30 Pro comes features a smaller 4,100mAh battery. Both devices support 40W fast charging, but the Honor V30 Pro also supports 27W wireless fast charging. 

The Honor V30 and V30 Pro comes in Icelandic Fantasy, Phantom Star River, Charm Starfish Blue, and Twilight Orange color options. The pre orders for China will start to arrive from the 5th of December while there is no word from the Company about global launch of the devices.
