After announcing the Flagship foldable smartphone Mate X, Huawei has now turned to its entry level smartphone segment, in which Huawei has most of the market share. Huawei has introduced its latest entrant in its popular Y series named Y6 2019.
The Huawei Y6 2019 features a 5.7″ Dewdrop notch display and 87% screen to body ratio, comprising of 720 x 1440 Full HD+ resolution. The smartphone is capable of blocking out harmful blue light and comes with TÜV Rheinland certification.
The smartphone is powered by a 12nm MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22 quad core processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, coupled with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU, the Huawei Y6 2019 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via external microSD card.
The Y6 2019 has a 13MP rear camera while on the front it boasts an 8MP selfie camera. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with Huawei EMUI 9.0 on top. It is fuelled by 3020mAh battery and will arrive in Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue, and Amber Brown color options. While pricing and availability of the device is yet to be announced.
