A new device from HTC has been spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking website with the model number 2Q7A100. It seems like HTC is working on a new mid range smartphone that is supposed to be launched soon.
Some key specifications of the device has been spotted in Geekbench website. The HTC 2Q7A100 will be powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC, that is a relatively new series from Qualcomm and is built on an 8nm process.
The SoC is coupled with 6GB of RAM, and the phone will run on the latest Android 9 Pie. While other specs and official name of the smartphone has not been announced by the company yet.
The last smartphone by HTC was launched back in December 2018. That was Desire 12s and it also did not get much attention thus failed to impress the public. The only way HTC could rebuilt its reputation is by offering some decent specs at a competitive price tag.
HTC has seen a constant decline in its sale and is now in imminent need of a revolutionary product that can boost up its sale in order to regain its previous market position. Lets see if this phone proves to be that game changer for HTC!
