Nokia 3 2nd generation named Nokia 3.1 has been launched

HMD Global has launched the new Nokia 3.1 last week. The handset is the fourth Nokia phone in the market to join the Android One family. The smartphone claims to be one of cheapest Android One devices.

Incorporating a 5.2 inch display with 720 x 1440 HD+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. It boasts a Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the device features a 13MP autofocus rear camera. On the front of the handset is an 8MP selfie camera. Device is ran by a MediaTek 6750 octa core chipset.

In the memory department, the Nokia 3.1 variant launched in India comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It supports further expansion up to 128GB thanks to a dedicated microSD card slot.

Nokia 3.1 runs Android 8.0 Oreo operating system out of the box. As an added feature, the 3.1 pledges three years of monthly security patches and two years of OS updates.

The Nokia 3.1 2GB/16GB will be offered in Black/Chrome, White/Iron and Blue/Copper.

While the price of Nokia 3.1 has been set at $249 which comes close to Rs 32,000 in Pakistan.
