HMD Global has recently launched its rugged phone called Nokia 800 Tough. Rugged phones are quite in fashion nowadays due to growing interest of adventure seekers who travels in wild or are into extreme sports such as mountain climbing or river/sea surfing.
In Pakistan a lot of people head towards Northern areas for thrill seeking where normal smartphones are extremely viable due to their delicate bodies. They break easily and gets scratches just with a slight rub against any hard surface. On the other hand, Nokia 800 Tough is water, dust and shock proof to an extent.
Nokia 800 Tough is a basic rugged phone with strong body which is resistant to bumps and scratches. It has a screen size of 2.4 inches QVGA display. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 205 coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB Internal storage. It has a Water resistant and dustproof (IP68) certification and drop protection up to 1.8 meters.
The device comes equipped with a 2MP camera with LED Flash. It runs KaiOS and is fuelled by a 2100mAh battery. The companion for adventurous people will be available to purchase in early October with a price tag of 19,999 in Pakistan. It will be available in Black Steel and Desert Sand color options.
