Nubia sub brand of ZTE teased its latest Nubia Red Magic 2 with 10GB RAM

Nubia which which is the sub brand of ZTE has posted an official teaser of its upcoming flagship smartphone called Nubia Red Magic 2. The phone will be a successor to the Nubia Red Magic gaming phone, which was launched in April.

The leaks detail some key features like Snapdragon 845 processor with 10GB RAM. The image also showed the inclusion of a 3D surround sound which clearly indicates that the Red Magic 2 will be having stereo speaks on it. We'll also get what nubia calls 4D gaming enhancement, but we are yet to learn what does it mean.

Gaming phones like Razer, Asus ROG and Black Shark are gaining popularity. Recently Xiaomi also launched its second gen gaming phone called the Black Shark Helo with 10GB RAM. Red Magic 2 will features dual cooling system for heat dissipation, which would comprise of liquid cooling and air cooling.

Other specs of the phone are not known yet. However its predecessor Red Magic came with 6 inch 1080 x 2160 pixels display with scratch and shock resistant glass. It came with Android 8.1 Oreo with nubia Red Magic OS on top. There was an octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU along with 6GB and 8GB of RAM options. The phone featured a single 24MP camera on the rear with LED flash and 8MP selfie camera. The handset had a fingerprint sensor on the rear and a 3800mAh battery with fast charging technology.

The Nubia Red Magic 2 could be revealed on 31st October along with the Nubia X.
