OnePlus is all set for the most anticipated launch of the year on 14th of May. The company will unveil its OnePlus 7 series consisting of two smartphones, namely, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. OnePlus has been building hype around its new smartphones for quite some time, particularly OnePlus 7 Pro.
OnePlus’ recent teasers and tweets primarily focuses on the premium OnePlus 7 Pro. Boasting its DisplayMate’s A+ rating and triple rear cameras. OnePlus is promoting its OnePlus 7 Pro as the next big thing in the flagship smartphone category.
OnePlus 7 Pro will compete with the rivals including Samsung Galaxy S10 and Apple iPhone XS in terms of price, but the device is likely to be more expensive than OnePlus 7. OnePlus 7 leaks suggests that the smartphone will be an upgrade over OnePlus 6T.
Reports suggests that OnePlus 7 will not have the biggest changes that OnePlus is going to incorporate in OnePlus 7 Pro. It will have a notched display instead of OnePlus 7 Pro’s dual curved screen with higher resolution display and a faster refresh rate. It’s expected to feature only two rear cameras instead of a triple rear camera setup.
The only improvements expected in OnePlus 7 are Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 processor, higher resolution cameras and a 4,150mAh battery with 30W Warp Charging technology.
On the other hand, OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to come with 48MP + 8MP + 16MP triple rear cameras. While on the front it will have a 16MP pop up selfie camera. The device will be Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, it will have a larger 6.67 inch display with 2K resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It will also support faster UFS 3.0. The smartphone will be fuelled by a 4,000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charger.
