OPPO Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro Officially Unveiled in China with 5G Capabilities and Quad Rear Camera Setup

OPPO has just launched its much awaited 5G ready Reno 3 and Reno 3 in the home market. Both smartphones support dual mode 5G and come equipped with a Quad Rear Camera Setup. The Reno is the first smartphone that draws power by MediaTek 1000L SoC, while the Reno 3 Pro comes with Snapdragon 765G chipset. The Reno 3 Pro will also come in a limited Plantone Edition. The company has also launched the Enco Free true wireless earbuds.

OPPO Reno 3 The OPPO Reno 3 comes with a 6.44 inch Full HD+ OLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 5. It comes with a water drop notch on top of the screen that houses the selfie camera. The smartphone draws power from the new MediaTek 1000L processor which is paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs the latest Color O7 on top of Android 10.

In terms of Camera, the device features a quad rear camera setup on the back comprising of 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP Ultra wide angle lens, a 2 Tertiary sensor for macro shots and a 2MP depth sensor to provide better portrait. While on the front, it features a 32MP wide angle lens for selfies housed inside the water drop notch.

The Reno 3 is fuelled by a 4025mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0. The fingerprint scanner is placed inside the display, the device will be available in White, Black, Starry Night Blue and Sunrise color options from 31st December in China. The price for the 8GB RAM base variant has been set to CNY 3,399 that roughly converts to Rs. 75,000 in Pakistan.

OPPO Reno 3 Pro The premium OPPO Reno 3 Pro has a 6.5 inch Full HD+ curved OLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate that sports a punch hole for the selfie camera. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and has a maximum brightness of 800 nits. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC. It is announced in two memory variants: 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB internal storage.

The smartphone features a quad rear camera setup that boasts a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, 2MP monochrome sensor and a 13MP telephoto camera with Electronic Image Stabilization and 5x hybrid zoom. The smartphone can shoot 1080p slo-mo videos at 120fps. On the front, it offers a 32MP selfie shooter housed inside the punch hole on the upper left corner of the display.

The OPPO Reno 3 Pro comes with a 4025mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 charge support. It runs ColorOS 7 on top of Android 10. The fingerprint scanner is placed inside the display and the device also features stereo speakers. It will be available in White, Black, Starry Night Blue, Sunrise color options. The base variant of the smartphone has been priced at CNY 3,999 that roughly converts to Rs. 88,000 in Pakistan. The device will be available in Chinese markets from the 10th of January.

The Chinese smartphone maker has also launched Oppo Reno 3 Pro Pantone Edition, which comes in Classic Blue Color which has been termed as the color of 2020. It comes in a retail box which is designed in White and Blue colors, the accessories also flaunts only these two colors, the VOOC cable and the Handsfree comes in Blue, while the Charging brick is White. Moreover, a White case has also been included in the box. 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant of OPPO Reno 3 Pro Pantone Edition will be available in China for CNY 4,199 that roughly converts to Rs. 93,000 in Pakistan.
