OPPO Reno will arrive in two variants powered by Snapdragon 855 and 710 chipsets

OPPO is going to unveil its all new Reno smartphones on 10th of April in China. Several leaks and speculations about the new lineup has been surfacing on the internet for quite some time. The company has already confirmed to introduce the 10x hybrid zoom technology with the OPPO Reno smartphone.

Total five smartphones under OPPO Reno lineup are in pipeline out of which two of them will be making a debut next month. OPPO’s vice president, S.Y. Brian, has confirmed that the standard version comes powered by the flagship 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. While on the other hand, the lite variant of the device will be backed by 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 Mobile Platform.

The flagship model is rumored to arrive with a huge 6.65 inch FHD+ display while the lite version will sport a smaller 6.4 inch FHD+ display. The smartphone is suggested to run on ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie. The display on this device is said to offer 93.1% screen to body ratio.

The OPPO Reno will sport 48MP Sony IMX 586 primary sensor along with 120 degree ultra wide angle sensor and periscope style telephoto sensor. It will come with curved glass body, and there will be no visible camera bump. While other specifications about the device will be revealed once the device is officially launched on April 10th.
