South Korean tech giant Samsung’s Galaxy A60 and the A40s have been spotted on the company’s official website for pre-order, also revealing launch dates. The pre-orders will close on May 5, 2019.
The Galaxy A60 comes with a 6.3 inch LCD Infinity O FHD+ display with a punch hole for selfie camera in the top-left corner of the display. The smartphone boasts a 32 MP selfie camera at the front. The Samsung Galaxy A60 hosts a 32 MP shooter mounted on the back panel with an aperture value of f/1.7 while the secondary sensor is an 8MP ultrawide shooter which gets an aperture resolution of f/2.2 along with a 5MP depth sensor. The smartphone rear panel also has an LED flash and a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The battery capacity is 3,500mAh and it houses a USB Type-C for charging and data transfer.
Talking about the Galaxy A40s, the smartphone sports a 6.4 inch Super AMOLED FHD+ Infinity U display. The A40s is a rebranded Galaxy M20 which gets a 16MP front camera. While on the back it features a 13MP primary shooter with an aperture value of f/1.9 along with a 5MP shooter with an aperture value of f/2.2 ultrawide and 5MP depth sensor modules. The Galaxy A40s is powered by the Exynos 7904 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. It packs a massive 5,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
As far as price of both the devices is concerned, the Galaxy A60 and the A40s will start from CNY1,499 which is around Rs. 31,000 in PKR for the 6GB / 64GB variant. The Galaxy A60 has a second version with 128GB of storage which has been priced at CNY1,999 around Rs. 41,000 in PKR.
