Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro officially announced with an in display Pin hole front camera

Samsung showcased its first quad camera setup with the launch of Galaxy A9, and now in Korea it has debuted the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro with an Infinity O display. In terms of specifications and design, the Galaxy A9 Pro looks identical to the Galaxy A8s which was launched in China last month.

Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro boasts a 6.4 inch display. It is powered by Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone has a Type C port on the bottom.

The volume rockers and power button are located on the right side of the frame. While there is also a dedicated Bixby button on the left frame of the smartphone.

Galaxy A9 Pro has a triple rear camera setup stacked vertically with a 24MP main sensor, 10MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom, and a 5MP depth sensor. Fingerprint scanner is also placed on the rear of the phone.

The real highlight of the device, is the 24MP front camera housed beneath the Infinity O cutout also called pin hole. The phone sports NFC sharing for Samsung Pay. The smartphone is fuelled by a 3,400mAh battery.

The Galaxy A9 Pro has been made available in three colour options including Blue, Black, and Absolute Black. The smartphone will go on the sale  in South Korea from February 28.
