Chinese smartphone maker Vivo launched a new variant of its Vivo X23 smartphone called the Symphony Edition. The new Symphony Edition is priced a bit lower from the original lower, comes with a mid range Snapdragon 660 SoC, reduced RAM but packs an upgraded selfie camera and slightly larger battery.
The Vivo X23 Symphony Edition offers a 6.41 inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution along with an in display fingerprint scanner. However, one of the major changes in the Symphony Edition is the downgrade to Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 6GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 128GB of internal storage.
Coming to the optics, the Vivo X23 Symphony Edition features the same 12MP + 13MP dual camera setup on the rear. However, the brand has swapped the original X23s 12MP selfie shooter with a much better 24.8MP snapper on the new launch.
The device runs Android 8.1 Oreo OS along with FunTouch OS UI. The handset receives power from 3,500mAh battery, which is 100mAh larger than the one on the X23. The smartphone will go on sale from 23 November in China comes in two gradient colour options, Starry Black and Arctic Pink.
