Xiaomi's rumored Black Shark 2 is still carries some mystery with only a couple of leaks to work with. Yet, the company is seemingly teasing an international release on its new global website and now we probably know when the handset is arriving. A poster had just surfaced online, claimed Xiaomi is ready to launch the smartphone in the last week of October this year.
The Xiaomi Black Shark, an Android smartphone built primarily for high end gaming arrived in April this year. The original Black Shark gaming phone was launched as a highly affordable option to other popular branded Android gaming smartphones like the Razer Phone 2 and others. Now Xiaomi could be pushing the development with better specifications, game specific hardware and features that smartphones like Asus ROG Phone have got.
The TENAA listing of the model number AWM A0 which belongs to the Black Shark 2, reveals the smartphone features a 5.99 inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with Adreno 630 GPU.
The Xiaomi smartphone could have as much as 8GB of RAM, and pack a large 4000mAh battery. TENAA listing suggests vertically aligned dual rear cameras. The Black Shark 2 will also reportedly feature a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. The leaked poster suggests the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 smartphone will launch on October 23.
