Xiaomi sub brand Redmi is all set to launch Redmi Note 8 series on 29th of August in China. Redmi Note 7 was the most affordable device with 48MP camera, now Redmi Note 8 Pro is going to debut with a 64MP camera and is expected to cost significantly less than its competitors.
Redmi posted an official poster on Chinese Microblogging website Weibo to confirm the launch of its Note 8 series. The poster shows a gradient back and Quad camera setup on the back, a fingerprint scanner beneath the triple camera module along with a flash and an additional sensor next to it.
The Redmi Note 8 is expected to be fuelled by a 5000mAh battery. With basic specs such as 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. As far as the display is concerned, it is expected to sport a 6.2 inch screen. On the other hand the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be a premium level device, powered by Snapdragon 700 series SoC and will pack a huge battery.
Both the devices will run Android 9 Pie with MIUI 10 running on top. A Pop Up selfie camera is expected to be mounted in the Note 8 Pro similar to the Redmi K20 series. The device will debut in China followed by the Global launch shortly after.
