Sony is expected to launch its next flagship smartphone called the Xperia XZ4 at Mobile World Congress 2019 on 25th of february. A list of specs of the yet to be announced smartphone has surfaced online, revealing some of the most important parts and features of the upcoming flagship.
The smartphone will boast a huge 6.5 inch OLED screen which is reported to achieve the 21:9 aspect ratio that many previous reports have suggested, while the resolution is claimed to be 3360 x 1440 pixels, which would deliver a pixel density of 562ppi. The Xperia XZ4 will measure 167 x 72 x 8.2mm and weigh 191g.
An image posted online shows a triple lens camera setup supposedly on the back of the Xperia XZ4, and lists the middle lens as being a 52MP one with an f/1.6 aperture. There is also a 16MP f/2.6 telephoto lens, along with a 0.3MP ToF (Time of Flight) lens.
The Xperia XZ4 will be powered by an Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage expandable up to 512GB via external Sd Card. Device will come stocked Android 9.0 Pie operating system, and support the Side Sense feature for AI based easy usability. The phone will be lit by a 4,000mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charge.
Additionally, the device might house a side mounted fingerprint sensor. Xperia XZ4 will be available in Black, Silver, Blue, and Deep Purple color options. Sony is holding a press conference on February 25 at MWC 2019 and we wouldnt be surprised if the Xperia XZ4 is launched there.
