Apples flagship iPhone for 2019 will come with a number of design changes, according to analyst. One of them is going to be the addition of USB Type C port. In other words, Apple is going to end the Lightning port on the future iPhones.
The analyst further says Apple is considering to bring back Touch ID and embedding it into the screen this time. Almost all the major smartphone manufacturers have released or about to release their devices with an in display fingerprint scanner.
Huawei offers such a mix of facial recognition and fingerprint sensors embedded into the screen, and Samsung will very likely adopt the latter on the upcoming Galaxy S10 launching next month. So Apple could be doing the same enabling Touch Id and Face Id both on the device.
The 2019 iPhone will also come with a smaller notch, as Apple wants to improve the screen to body ratio, and 3D sensing cameras could be added on the back of the iPhone too. Sony is going to provide the 3D lens for the phone.
Apples sales has been dropped drastically so Apple has no other option than to come with something big and innovative this year to remain alive in the smartphone industry.
