Lenovo has been hyping up its new phone called Z5 over the past few weeks, posting sketches and renders that hinted an all-screen design free from bezels and notch. Finally, the Z5 just got unveiled in Beijing.
The Z5 has got a 6.2-inch 19:9 ratio 1080p screen with very slim bezels that Lenovo claims are thinner than the Xiaomi Mi 8 and iPhone X, and a notch that is also narrower than those two phones. Lenovo claims a screen-to-body ratio of 90 percent. The Z5 sports double-sided 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass for protection.
The phone has an eight-core Snapdragon 636 processor and 16-megapixel dual cameras which are backed by Artificial Intelligence (AI). The front camera is an 8MP lense with f/2.0 aperture. The camera can shoot videos in 4K resolution. The battery of Lenovo Z5 is 3,300mAh and can be fast-charged at 18W.
Z5 comes at very low price that is 1,299 yuan (around 22,000 when converted into PKR) for a model with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, or 1,799 yuan (Approx 30,000 PKR) for 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Lenovo Z5 will go on sale in China from June 12.
