China's Big Four Smartphone Manufacturers Pushed Samsung Out of The Market, Analysts Predict Apple is Next

Four biggest Chinese smartphone manufacturing brands Huawei, Xiaomi, Vivo and OPPO has taken over the business of World's largest smartphone vendor's business in China. Chinese users are opting for these brands instead of Samsung because of the price difference and innovative tech that the big four brands are offering.

Analysts suspects that OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi and Huawei will also kick out Apple from the smartphone market in China in the near future. These brands are native to the Chinese market and are well aware of the requirements of the users. They offer more for a less price that benefitted them over the international rivals.

Recent statistics suggest that sales of Chinese smartphone brands has increased dramatically since 2014 and the sales of Apple and Samsung has dropped drastically. Samsung’s market share dropped from 12.8% in 2014 to less than one-percent by 2018, while Apple’s share dropped from 10.1% to 7.4%.

Huawei, OPPO and Vivo's market share has been increased by three folds since the year 2014. They collectively holds around 67% market share in China while Xiaomi has a steady market share of around 17%. Worldwide sales of these smartphone brands has also increased by a great margin and they are giving a tough time to the American and Korean Giants all around the globe.

The Chinese smartphone vendors have a very unique feature which is their price. LG, Samsung and Apple are delivering the same features with a high price tag while OPPO, Huawei, Vivo and Xiaomi brings innovative features for a relatively lower price. Samsung has also moved its mobile phone production unit from China and it looks like Apple is the next due to its dropping sales.
