EMUI 10 based on Android Q running on Huawei P30 Pro spotted online

Huawei has already confirmed a few days ago that the latest Android Q will be coming to their flagship smartphones. Trump Administration ban made things doubtful but now an early build of EMUI 10 has leaked online based on Android Q, showing what Huawei is working on.

If the U.S. and China fail to reach any agreement, Google will be forced to cancel Huawei’s Android license in August. The cancellation will make Huawei unable to have any update with Google Mobile Services which includes Google Play Services and the Google Play Store.

Getting back to the EMUI 10 running over Android Q, there doesn’t seem to have been many changes to the user interface in the update which is currently in the works. The launcher, notifications, status bar, Quick Settings, and Settings seem to be the same as they were in EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9 Pie.

However, Android Q’s new permission controls, including location access only while in use feature, are present in EMUI 10. The UI of the camera app has also been slightly changed. Huawei has already announced that the Mate 20 series, P30 series, and some Honor devices would receive an Android Q update.
