Googles self manufactured smartphone designs and release schedule have been a lot predictable since the Nexus lineup was called off, with three Pixel generations unveiled around the fall of 2016, 2017, and 2018 in regular and XL sizes.
Recently spotted Geekbench Browser log for the Google Pixel 3 Lite XL have finally given us some performance insights for the companys lower end smartphone. But it could have also revealed to a new name the device might come with, as the log refers to it as the Google Pixel 3a XL.
The benchmark reveals that the Google Pixel 3a XL runs Android 9.0 Pie on the software side, while it packs 4GB of RAM and a seemingly mysterious octa core Qualcomm SoC with 1.71 GHz base frequency and an ARM implementer 81 architecture 8 variant 6 part 2050 revision 13 identifier.
The processor specs suggests it to be Snapdragon 710. It is Qualcomms best non flagship processor, designed to deliver a balance between power and efficiency. Unfortunately, theres not much else we can learn from Geekbench right now but things will get more clear in coming few days.
