Huawei Launches MediaPad M6 With Kirin 980 Chipset & 8.4” Or 10.8” Displays

Huawei has recently launched two new MediaPad tablets called MediaPad M6 10.8 inch and MediaPad M6 8.4 inch. The tablets are successor to MediaPad M5 Series. The tablets are currently going to be available in Huawei’s home market China only.

Both MediaPad M6 versions come with LCD displays of 2560 × 1600 pixel resolution with slim bezels. The tablets are powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage. The tablets has an optional 4G LTE support.

The MediaPad M6 10.8 inch model will come in Champagne Gold and Silver Ash color options. The Huawei MediaPad M6 10.8 inch LTE 4GB + 128GB model will only come in Silver Ash color while the 4GB + 64GB model of the same variant will be sold in Champagne Gold color only.

Both tablets comes with an 8MP front camera and 13MP rear shooters. The 10.8 inch version packs a 7,500mAh battery while the smaller one comes with a 6,100 mAh cell. They run on EMUI 9.1 based on Android 9.1. The Huawei MediaPad M6 Tablets are up for pre orders from 21st of june and will hit the shelves early next month.
