iOS 13 code suggests that Apple's AR Glasses might launch soon

Apple is going to unveil the much anticipated iPhone 11 lineup next week. But now it seems that the new iPhone and iPads are not the only products Apple is developing, Apple is long being rumoured to be developing Augmented Reality Headset or Glasses. Now internal build of iOS 13 reveals that a head mounted AR device is under development.

It was reported that Cupertino giant has abandoned the idea of developing Apple Glasses, but in the build of iOS 13 there are references to References to stereo augmented reality apps, as well as the codename "Garta," have been spotted within Apple's internal betas of iOS 13, that suggest that the device is not only under development but it is going to launch soon.

Apple iOS 13 includes a number of evidence regarding the development of AR wearables, including an app called STARTester, which appears to emulate an AR headset for the purposes of testing. This testing app includes references to the different states when a device is "worn" or "held."

iOS 13 includes references to "StarBoard mode," "ARStarBoardViewController" and more. Apart from that, Apple has made significant improvements in the ARKit in its iOS 13. According to various sources, Apple plans to release augmented reality glasses in early 2020.
