Apple is expected to launch its iPhone 2018 lineup at a special event scheduled for September 12 at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California. Just few days before the official launch, back cases of the 6.1 inch LCD model and 6.5 inch OLED iPhone variant have been spotted at a retail store in the US.
The cases for iPhone 9 and iPhone XS Max were spotted by an internet user in a renowned retail store and has posted pictures of the two cases online.
The box of the LCD iPhone has not mentioned the name of the device, it simply referred to it as the NEW iPhone 6.1 inch 2018. There is a long cutout at the back which looks like a place for dual camera setup, but is probably for a bigger than before single camera and a LED flash placed below it.
On the other hand, the iPhone XS Max case is much larger in size. The iPhone XS Max will have an edge to edge display. Apple probably achieved this by trimming down the size of the bezels and making a notch at the top. The cutout at the back of the iPhone Xs Max is there for a dual rear camera setup with an LED flash placed in between.
Pictures of the iPhone Xs case are not uploaded, because those are going to be same as the iPhone X since Apple has not made any changes in the size of the new model of iPhone X.
