Apple launched the iPhone Xs, Xs Max and the iPhone XR back in September and the firm is expected to release its smartphone lineup of this year some time in September 2019. The American tech giant's next generation of iPhones are still far from launch but it has not stopped a round of rumours circulating about new handsets.
In january this year, alleged renders of the next generation of iPhone were spotted online and the makers of those renders claimed that they were based on an early prototype of Apple's upcoming hardware.
The iPhone was shown with three cameras on its rear that were positioned in a single module on the top left side of the device similar to Huawei P20 Pro. In iPhones camera module is usually stacked vertically, instead they were positioned in a triangle shape within the module itself.
Such a design choice is reminiscent to what we have seen on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The renders shown on the internet were called authentic by notable leaker Ice Universe on Twitter.
Now a new rumour about Cupertino giant’s 2019 iPhones comes from a notable analyst Ming Chi Kuo who has stated that a significant battery bump is on the way that could challenge the battery life offered by the Mate 20 Pro.
Kuo stated the size of the battery in the next generation of the iPhone Xs could be up by as much as 25%. The iPhone Xs currently has a 2,658 mAh battery, which means its successor could have a battery that is going to be as large as 3,322 mAh.
While, Kuo also added that the iPhone Xs Max could see up to a 15 percent increase in this regard. The most premium iPhone currently has a 3,174 mAh battery, that means such an increase would increase it up to 3,650mAh.
Furthermore, the analyst claims that the next generation of the iPhone XR may see a battery increase of up to 5%. If really happens, then it would take the budget phone's battery capacity to 3,089 mAh.
Kuo also stated that the next generation of iPhone will be capable of charging other devices by being placed on its rear. It is not clear if this feature will be present on all models or just the most premium ones.
Reverse wireless charging also first debuted on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro back in October and is a feature that met with appraise from users because of it’s handy solution for powering smaller devices such as headphones.
Although rumours are floating in full force surrounding new iPhone models, but nothing can be said with with full authority until any official announcement by Apple.
