The Nokia X6 launched in China back in May by HMD Global and now Nokia is getting ready to launch the handset globally. The global launch of the Nokia X6 will start on the 19th of July but it will be called the Nokia 6.1 Plus.
The Nokia X6 comes with a 5.8 inch display with a full HD+ screen resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch on the top. The main thing behind the performance of the smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset. Nokia is currently offering the smartphone in China in three configurations 4GB RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM + 64GB storage.
As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone sports a dual rear camera setup with a 16MP primary autofocus sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP monochrome sensor with f/2.2 aperture. Nokia X6 boasts a 16MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The phone is equipped with AI features coupled with deep image learning capabilities. It also includes intelligent scene recognition feature alongside AI Portrait mode. It supports AR Stickers and AI selfies with bokeh effects.
For security, there is a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock. The handset is an Android One offering, which means it comes with the latest stock Android 8.1 Oreo and is entitled to regular updates from Google.
It runs on a 3060mAh battery that comes with Quick Charge 3.0 support. HMD Global claims that the Nokia X6's battery can go from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes of charging.
Price for the smartphone in China is between $200 (~ PKR 24,000) to $270 (~ PKR 32,000) for all three versions based on the RAM and internal memory. And we could expect similar pricing throughout the world.
All in all Its a nice mid range device with decent specs.
