OnePlus 6T launch date moved to October 29th to avoid clash with Apple launch event

The next OnePlus launch date has officially been moved to October 29, a day earlier than the company originally announced as Apple is holding a press launch event on 30th of October in which Apple is expected to announce its new iPad Pro and Mac updates. The change of launch date was announced by the company CEO on the OnePlus community forum.

The company knows that it was in a bit of a no win situation and didn't want to let one of the most important products in our history be affected by another great product launch. Rather than a clash with the worlds most successful tech company, OnePlus decided to move out of the way and let Apple have the launch date OnePlus had reserved weeks ago.

There's a lot of excitement around the OnePlus 6T phone, with leaks pointing to an in display fingerprint sensor on the smartphone. Hopefully, OnePlus will get enough attention to make up for the pain of rescheduling an event before Apple takes away the spotlight the following day.

The phone will feature a water drop notch and rumored to come with 8GB Ram. Following more or less same design as OnePlus 6. More details on the OnePlus 6T launch will be shared as they arrive.
