OPPO A31 2020 Launched with Triple Rear Camera Setup and 4230mAh Battery

OPPO A31 is the latest lower mid range smartphone by Chinese smartphone giant OPPO. The smartphone has been currently launched in Indonesia, while the Global launch is expected soon. The entry level device comes with decent specifications such as a 6.5-inch HD+ 1520 x 720 resolution display with a water drop notch design and 20:9 aspect ratio.

The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 SoC paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is expandable via an external MicroSD card. It runs ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9 Pie. OPPO A31 features a rear mounted Fingerprint scanner for biometric security and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack.

In terms of camera and photography, OPPO A31 includes a triple rear camera setup on the back that is aligned vertically, the main camera is a 12MP snapper paired with a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP dedicated macro lens. While on the front, the device sports an 8MP shooter housed inside the water drop notch for selfies and video calling.

OPPO A31 is fuelled by a large 4230mAh battery that charges through microUSB port. The smartphone is being offered in just two color options right now: Mystery Black and Fantasy White. The device is launched only in Indonesia right now, but it will make it to other Asian markets soon. OPPO is trying to recapture the budget and mid range market segment where Xiaomi and Realme are emerging as the new leaders.

In related news, OPPO's upcoming flagship Find X2 Pro has been previously spotted on Geekbench listing that reveals that the smartphone will have Snapdragon 865 and a 12 GB RAM option, as well as Android 10 out of the box. The Oppo Find X2 smartphones are already confirmed to have a 120Hz refresh rate, QHD resolution and 240 Hz touch sampling rate.
