With the aim to expand its smartphone portfolio, Oppo has announced a new sub brand named ‘Reno’ it will launch its new phones for the Chinese market. The company has revealed a brand logo along with key information of first smartphone launch.
Judging by the logo shared on social media, Reno looks to be a fun youth centric brand. Oppo’s Vice President Shen Yiren has revealed the new sub brand is for the Chinese market. He revealed that the first smartphone under Reno branding will be launched on April 10.
Recently, Shen shared on Weibo that Oppo will introduce a new product line in April that will appeal to the global audience. Last year Oppo introduced the Realme sub brand with price aggressive smartphones in the country.
Meanwhile, an Oppo smartphone has found listed on the popular benchmarking website, AnTuTu. As per the listing, the phone comes with model number OP46C3. The listing says that the smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor along with Adreno 640 GPU. The phone is equipped with an 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is possible that this device could be the Oppo Find X successor called the Find Z.
