Realme has made its name in the smartphone market within a short span of time due to their premium features for a relatively low price. Now the OPPO sub brand is seeking to enter the accessories market with several new products including Power banks, Earphones and fitness bands.
Realme announced it's first truly wireless earbuds earlier this month. The biggest competitor of the brand is Xiaomi in the smartphone segment, and now the company is gearing up to compete with the brand in other products too. OPPO sub brand is now ready to enter the smart fitness band sector and with the aim to take on the likes of Xiaomi.
Currently Mi Band 4 by Xiaomi is leading the fitness tracking bands market. Now, the CEO of Realme India Madhav Sheth said that the company is working on a fitness band. He revealed that Realme’s fitness band will release in the first half of 2020. While their power bank will make debut on January 2nd next year.
The Mi band 4 is the most affordable fitness tracking band available right now with an OLED display and a bunch of features such as long battery life. It is loaded with an optical heart rate sensor. The Realme Band could also be offering a bigger display, easy touch controls and a newer trendy design.
