Apple is going to launch the iPhone 11S, iPhone 11S Pro and iPhone 11S Max in the second half of 2020. Analysts at Taiwan Electronic Times predicts a big wave of Apple users' will upgrade and shift on the next-generation iPhone, citing sources in the supply chain.
The last big wave of iPhone user shift came in the time of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S. According to statistics, the total shipments of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S line exceeded 250 million, which made it the best-selling series of Apple smartphones. Analysts predict the same success with the new iPhone 11S.
Apple will introduce three new models iPhone 11S, iPhone 11S Pro and iPhone 11S Pro Max in the second half of 2020. The total volume of shipments from the fourth quarter of 2020 to January 2021 are expected to reach 110-120 million devices globally. It will depend on the future demand when Apple decides to call off the production of iPhone 11S series.
Apple iPhone 11S Series will feature 5G technology and OLED screens with a diagonal of 5.4, 6.1 and 6.7 inches. The 5.4-inch and 6.7-inch OLED panels will be supplied by Samsung Display, while the 6.1-inch OLED will be supplied by LG Display.
Earlier, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the iPhone SE 2 will debut in early 2020 with A13 chip paired with 3GB of RAM. The iPhone SE 2 is expected to feature a 4.7 inch display with Touch ID. It is going to be a replacement for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S users.
