After months of rumors and leaks, Samsung Galaxy A50 seems to be finally gearing up for the official launch. Carrying model number SM A50FN/DS, the rumoured Galaxy A50 smartphone has just received Wi Fi certification from Wi Fi Alliance. The listing matches with last months Geekbench listing and further reveals that the smartphone will come in single SIM and dual SIM variants.
The phone was spotted last month on Geekbench revealing that it will run on the Exynos 9610 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB inbuilt storage and an optical in display fingerprint scanner. Other specs of the Galaxy A50 include a 4,000 mAh battery and a 24MP front camera for selfies. The phone will be running on Android 9 pie out of the box.
There is no confirmation on whether the Galaxy A50 will be featuring n Infinity V or Infinity U or Infinity O display design. The WiFi certification reveals support for 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi bands on the smartphone. Reports suggest that it will be launched after the flagship Galaxy S10, whose launch is scheduled for February 20th.
