Smartphone manufacturers seems to experiment with new ways in order to get rid of notch. Samsung introduced its infinity O display in which it has placed a pinhole in display camera. While Vivo and Huawei came up with sliding front camera. Now Samsung has introduced another innovative new way by putting a slide up rotating camera that acts as front and rear camera both.
The smartphone is called the Galaxy A80. The device uses a rotating camera setup, powered by a motorized mechanism which allows you to take selfies with the rear camera. The triple camera setup houses a 48MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, an 8MP secondary sensor with an ultra wide angle 123 degree f/2.2 lens, and a 3D depth camera.
Coming to the other specs, it features a Super AMOLED display, that measures 6.7 inches and supports a resolution of Full HD+. The smartphone is powered by an octa core Exynos platform coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The phone runs on Android 9 Pie with One UI out of the box. It packs a 3,700mAh battery with 25W Super Fast Charging. The Galaxy A80 is available in three colors including Phantom Black, Angel Gold and Ghost White. The device will go on sale from 29th of May.
