Samsung Galaxy F is going to be announced sooner than expected

Samsung Mobile has updated its profile image on Facebook which seems to be a teaser for its upcoming foldable phone. The Samsung Galaxy F foldable phone could finally get its official revealing, announcement or a teaser this Wednesday November 7 at SDC conference.

The companys schedule for SDC 2018 will include a dedicated session where it will reveal its new Android 9.0 Pie beta program and tell us how it’s new foldable displays will make new user experiences possible.

Samsung was supposedly in a race with Huawei to claim the title of first to announce a phone with a foldable display. Now the SDC app confirms that we should at least be able to see conceptual images of the first foldable Galaxy phone and its user interface later this week.

Samsungs Galaxy F is expected to be a much more refined smartphone that works as a tablet when unfolded or as a phone when folded. As for specifics, the Galaxy F is believed to have a large 7.3 inch OLED screen that folds like a clamshell. A second 4.6 inch OLED screen is said to be on the outside of the phone so it can be used as a normal phone while folded closed.

The Korean giant will also reveal more about the Galaxy Home, its Bixby powered AI speaker, and many other services and apps at the SDC event on 7th and 8th of November.
