Samsung Galaxy S10 5G exploded in South Korea

The Galaxy S10 5G is the world’s first fully integrated 5G smartphone, it officially hit South Korean stores via three network carriers on April 5th. Samsung had launched the 5G variant separately from the standard version because it is completely optimised for better 5G performance and network reception.

Now an owner claims that his Samsung Galaxy S10 5G has caught fire after six days of usage. The user of the burned Samsung Galaxy S10 5G said that the phone had exploded for no reasons. According to the owner the device was placed on a table when the fire started coming out which cracked the front and back panel of the smartphone.

After retrieving the device from the customer, Samsung inspected the device and concluded that the damage was caused by external impact Samsung shared an official press release in which it stated that the damage was due to an external impact and denied reimbursements of the phone.

The cause of this mishap remains unclear, but Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 met with the same fate of catching fire and Samsung had to recall its units. While recently the company has delayed the official launch of its Foldable Galaxy smartphone due to faulty screens.
