SANSO™ a German technology company has issued a press release stating that Samsung is using the name of Naked Eye 3D Technology to promote their products in China. SANSO™ has patented the Naked Eye 3D Technology for Sanso Mobiles. The company claims that the Technology Samsung is using and promoting is not real naked Eye 3D but a gimmick that is used in LCDs and Screens via a cheat screen that shows images like 3D objects so they seem like popping out from the screen.
SANSO™ on the other hand has been using its patented technology since years that is powered by real time hardware based Naked Eye 3D Technology. SANSO Mobile’s Naked Eye 3D Technology doesn’t need special 3D technology and can convert any 2D image or video content into 3D which is fully controlled by the company’s special hardware and dedicated algorithm combined with parallel barrier display Technology.
SANSO™ has developed the full solution to control the 3D conversion in real time. Sanso claims that Samsung or any other smartphone maker that claims to offer Naked 3D technology is using a cheat sheet or lamination which cannot produce real time 3D conversion but shows special 3D images that look like Sanso’s proprietary Naked Eye 3D Technology.
SANSO says that the act by Samsung is below business ethics, claiming to provide a technology which is already patented by SANSO™. Still they wish luck to Samsung and other vendors that are proclaiming to provide the technology and say that it would have been nice of them to ask for permission or give credit to the original developers of 3D Naked Technology.
