Sony Xperia XZ3 will probably arrive with four cameras: Here's what we know about the upcoming device so far

Sony tends to update its flagship phone every six months. The current high end model is the Xperia XZ2, Theres an Xperia XZ3 on the horizon that will be up for sale from 31st August.

Heres what we know about Sonys next attempt to capture a large chunk of the high end Android Smartphone market.

The Xperia XZ3 has not yet been officially announced but Sony has a press conference at the IFA trade show in Berlin on 30 August. This could be an event at which Sony unveils the Xperia XZ3.

If the leaked specifications are believed to be true then Sony Xperia XZ3 will continue its trend by featuring a 5.7 inch screen with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. Just like its predecessor, under the hood there is an Snapdragon 845 chipset.

Xperia XZ3 will have a 6 GB of RAM which will be coupled with either 64 GB or 128 GB of internal memory. The device is going to be powered by a 3240 mAh battery which is a little upgrade in the previous model.

Now coming to the camera department, According to a new leak that surfaced online, Sonys upcoming flagship could sport four cameras, and become the first Sony branded smartphone to ship with such a setup. The Xperia XZ3 is expected to ship with two rear facing and two front facing cameras.

At the back of the device, there will be a dual camera setup featuring 19MP + 12MP lens. It will provide 2x optical zoom. Fingerprint scanner will be placed below the cameras.

The specific detail about the dual front camera setup is not yet available but it could allow the secondary camera to take Bokeh effects, which is also known as Portrait Mode.

We can expect Sony Xperia XZ3 will be available on retail for around 50,000 to 60,000 Rs price bracket in Pakistan.
