TCL Announces Launch Date for TCL 10L and TCL 10 Pro

TCL Communications is a Chinese Telecom company, a subsidiary of Chinese technology giant TCL Corporation. It manufactures Alcatel and Blackberry brand Smartphones for quite some time, and has unveiled its own TCL branded devices earlier this year. Now, it aims to step into the US smartphone market by introducing TCL branded smartphones in the country in May this year.

TCL is known for manufacturing premium TV sets for an affordable price, and now has managed to gain excitement for it's smartphone release. It initially introduced the TCL branded smartphones in CES 2020. Now, announced that TCL 10L and TCL 10 Pro will be available on Amazon for US customers from May 19 onwards.

TCL 10L is the entry level smartphone in TCL 10 series, it features a 6.53 inches FHD+ display developed by the company itself. The device offers Snapdragon 665 Processor paired with 6GB RAM in two storage options: 64GB and 128GB. It runs Android 10 OS with TCL UI on top. It is fuelled by a 4000mAh cell.

In terms of camera, the smartphone brings a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP wide angle lens, an 8MP ultra-wide angle shooter, 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. While on the front, it sports a 16MP snapper for selfies. The smartphone will be priced at $249.99 for the US customers.

The big brother, TCL 10 Pro is an upper end mid-range device that comes with a 6.47 inches AMOLED display with an in screen optical fingerprint scanner. It is powered by a Snapdragon 665 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is fuelled by a 4500mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

In the optics department, TCL 10 Pro comes equipped with a quad rear camera setup consisting of 64MP wide angle snapper, a 16MP ultra-wide angle shooter, a 5MP macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the device provides a 24MP camera on front. The TCL 10 Pro will come in for $449.99.
