Nokia Android phones have been selling for over a year now, and the company that owns the Nokia brand, HMD Global, unveiled a bunch of new devices in early spring. But so far, we havent had a true Nokia flagship that can go head to head against the latest iPhones or compete with the best available Android Smartphones.
But hopefully thats about to change soon though, because the companys first flagship android smartphone Nokia 9 will finally be unveiled next week.

In a tweet posted on its official Twitter account Nokia has revealed a special event taking place on August 21 and it'll see the reveal of what the teaser described as the "most awaited phone", which can only mean one thing, the Nokia 9.
There hasn't been a lot of talk of the Nokia 9 recently, because of the distractions from Android Pie, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and continued rumours of Apple's coming soon iPhone 2019 range.
So to quickly give you an insight on the Nokia 9, it's going to pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, stacks of RAM 4GB / 6GB and storage 64GB / 128GB, and possibly an OLED display with an in display fingerprint scanner. The design is expected to be similar to the Nokia 8 but possibly a bit larger and with an 18:9 edge to edge display. Waterproofing has also been tipped.
The phone is also expected to pack an amazing Carl Zeiss branded set of cameras. It seems hard to imagine it won't be at least a dual sensor arrangement, with either 12MP and 13MP or dual 13MP combos. It will come likely with Android Pie.

We will know more about the device as we will approach to the launch date.
