Chinese technology company Vivo is working on smartphones with ultra fast charging. Recent reports suggests that the company is testing 44W fast charging technology which is being developed by the company in house which the company plans to incorporate in its upcoming smartphones.
Vivo is reportedly going to name the 44W fast charging technology Flash Charge. By achieving the breakthrough in fast charging company wants to compete with other smartphone giants such as Huawei and Oppo who are already offering an impressive fast charging technology in their smartphones.
The fastest charging technology currently present on an smartphone has been introduced by another Chinese tech company Meizu. The technology is named Fast mCharge and is capable of charging by 55W of power. The Meizu Fast mCharge was revealed at the MWC 2017.
While there is no other information regarding the Vivo Flash Charge has been revealed yet. But we can expect the technology to make debut soon. And then we can expect that other major smartphone makers like Samsung and Apple who currently does not give fast charging in their phones would also recognize the need of coming up with better and faster charging in their smartphones.
