Xiaomi is hosting a product event in Shenzen and its global spokesperson Donovan Sung has confirmed that they are going to announce new products at their annual event.
The announcement comes at the time when there is already a buzz among the Xiaomi fans about the Mi 7 because an official poster of the phone was shared on Weibo.
There are speculations that Xiaomi is going to launch two products in this event, one is Mi 7 and other will be Xiaomis 8th anniversary limited addition smartphone.
The 8th anniversary smartphone will probably have a iphone X like 3D face recognition feature, both phones are going to have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 8GB RAM variants.
An poster was uploaded on Chinese social network site Weibo suggesting that the Mi 7 is going to launch soon. The post claimed the new phone will launch on May 23. Some reports also said that Xiaomi will start taking pre-orders for the Mi 7 from May 27 on wards. However, the company has not released any information regarding the Mi 7 officially.
According to the leaks Xiaomi Mi 7 will have an in display fingerprint scanner and a notch design display like iphone X. The display is going to be 5.65-inches with Full HD+ resolution. Mi 7 will have 16MP +16MP dual rear cameras and a battery more than 4,000mAh capacity with wireless charging support.
