Vivo APEX concept phone, the first truly bezel-less smartphone, is set to debut on June 12. The Vivo NEX is a smartphone with full-front display and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
NEX promises to be the first smartphone that has almost 100 percent screen-to-body ratio. The company managed to do so by housing the selfie camera in a retractable drawer on top of the body, Reports so far suggests that Vivo is going to launch three smartphones named NEX, NEX A and NEX S next week.
The final specifications of NEX series leaked recently, it will come with 6 GB RAM, 4,000 mAh battery, and at least 128 GB internal storage. Surely, the higher-end variants will get more storage. A Snapdragon 845 SoC is highly likely, though experts expect Vivo to launch a cheaper Snapdragon 710 variant as well. An in-display fingerprint sensor will be present in the higher end variant, though the lower-end variants might not get it.
VIVO Leaked Specs The mid-ranger will be called NEX A, and will be powered by Snapdragon 710 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. It will feature a large 6.59-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2316×1080 pixels, and taller aspect ratio of 19.3:9. The smartphone is also said to have a 4,000mAh battery and will support fast charging at 22.5W.
The Vivo NEX will feature a vertically stacked dual rear camera with a resolution of 12-megapixel and 5-megapixels. The pop-up selfie camera will have an 8-megapixel sensor. Vivo NEX series is going to be equipped with features dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC and LTE.

Smartphone makers have been struggling to find a way for true bezel-less design that also includes a front camera. With NEX, Vivo will have the most unique solution yet, but it is not clear how long the selfie camera will last since it includes mechanical moving elements in it.
