Xiaomi is apparently planning to launch its 8th anniversary edition phone in a product launch event which will held in Shenzhen on 31st of May.

GizmoChina post claims that tickets for the event were priced between 799( aprx: 15000 Pkr) yuan and 1,999(aprx: 36,000 Pkr). There were 5,000 tickets available for general public. Reports suggest that Mi 7 smartphone and the Mi Band 3 fitness tracker will also be revealed at the Annual product launch event.
Xiaomis Mi Community in China have verified that there will be an 8th Anniversary edition Xiaomi smartphone, leaks suggests that the device will be represented by an 8 symbol, drawn in a way that it would look like a rotated infinity sign. Leaks about this phone also claims the device will have 3D facial recognition, like iPhone X, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It could also come with 8GB RAM like other Xiaomi flagship phones.
