Xiaomi unveiled its flagship Mi 10 5G and Mi 10 Pro 5G a few weeks back and now a Global online Launch event took place in which an unexpected entry surprised everyone, an affordable variant in Mi 10 series called Mi 10 Lite with 5G connectivity. The Mi 10 trio will arrive in the Global markets in April.
Both the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro have a 6.67 inch OLED display running at 2340 x 1080 resolution, with a 90 Hz refresh rate and an under-display fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, there sits Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 chipset and up to 12GB of memory, with Xiaomi using LPDDR5 RAM.
In terms of camera, both the smartphones feature a 108MP sensor, combined with a number of other cameras. The Mi 10 Pro gets a 20MP wide camera and two telephoto sensors. While the Mi 10 has a 13MP wide-angle lens and two 2MP sensors. Both devices have a 20MP front-facing camera.
Along with 5G, there’s WiFi 6 802.11ax and Bluetooth 5.1, The Mi 10 Pro has a 4,500 mAh battery with 50W charging, while the Mi 10 has a 4,780 mAh battery and supports 30W charging. Storage is up to 256GB on the Mi 10, or up to 512GB on the Mi 10 Pro.
The third smartphone in the lineup Mi 10 Lite is revealed today and comes with a surprisingly low price tag considering the fact that it is a 5G enabled device. The Mi 10 Lite comes with a 6.57 inch AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset.
The integrated 5G modem will be kept cool with the LiquidCool technology. In terms of camera and photography, Mi 10 Lite 5G features a quad rear camera setup on the back, that sits inside a square-shaped module. A 48MP main sensor dominates the Quad Rear Camera Setup while on the front, there is a 16MP shooter for selfies.
The Mi 10 Lite 5G is fuelled by a 4,160mAh battery with fast 20W wired charging support. The phone measures 7.98mm thick and weigh 192 grams. It is going to be available in three color options, giving you a choice between White, Gray, and Green. The 64GB storage version will cost €350 and you can go for the 128GB version by sparing €50 more.
